Edrock is a Toronto-based rock band whose name comes from the Farsi and Arabic word Edraak, meaning perception.

Founded in 2023 by Arash Emadi, Pouyan Azarkaman, and Matin Ansari, the band writes across rock, hard rock, and soft metal, with blues, funk, and Persian traditional music folded into its sound. All lyrics are in Persian.

Edrock has sold out Toronto venues including Drake Underground and Fairview Library Theatre, and has anchored recurring community events including Beytooteh and Tak o Took's concert series.

In October 2023, the band was named Best Band at the Sing With Me Festival. In 2026, Edrock was awarded a grant from the Ontario Arts Council Music Recording Projects to produce their debut album.

The current core lineup is Arash Emadi, Pouyan Azarkaman, and Kavosh Zonoozi, with guest artists including Ehsan Omidi and Siddarth Kota.
